Pronunciation sheet
Agreed in writing before any speech is generated. It is what makes a re-record six months later, or a second language next year, sound like the same guide.

| darn / darned | DARN / DARND | Single syllable. Do not soften to 'darnèd'. |
| verdigris | VUR-di-greess | Appears in the studio pages, not in the guide. |
| Room 1 / Room 2 | room one / room two | Read digits as words throughout. |
| +15s / -15s | forward fifteen seconds / back fifteen seconds | For screen-reader labels, never read as 'plus fifteen ess'. |
A real sheet also carries donor names, place names, dialect terms and anything a narrator could plausibly get wrong. Venues usually add ten to thirty lines of their own; that is the point of handing it over.
